Website & Digital Marketing

The brief

We have a long-standing and successful history with the Hospice sector– starting with Wakefield Hospice back in 2012 and continuing with our 7th and 8th hospice websites for Overgate Hospice and Lindsey Lodge in 2019.

What we did

We delivered multi-functional and transactional websites that raise funds for the key causes the Hospices support.

Focus on fundraising

Hospices only receive a proportion of their income from the Government, the rest they have to raise themselves; an amount that’s growing per Hospice year on year. The websites we build for them are key string to their fundraising bow. From managing events (including the ever-popular Wakefield and Leeds 10k entries in their thousands) through to In Memory donations and online stores; our websites generate large amounts of income for the Hospices every day of the year.

Differing target audiences

Whilst fundraising is obviously a key aspect of the Hospice websites; it’s really important we remember the main service Hospice’s offer. As such our websites are crafted in a way that effortlessly balances the fundraising needs against the needs of patient care, family information and professional research; without any stark contrasts between each of the audience groups.

Key performance statistics

Ultimately, these websites have to perform from a fundraising aspect – not only paying for themselves quickly, but ensuring ongoing funds are generated to support the Hospices.
Every one of our Hospice sites is in a positive ROI within a couple of months – with Martin House, their event bookings and donations surpassed the total cost of the site in under 4 weeks.
Wakefield Hospice is our longest serving Hospice site and it’s still successfully managing the processing and payment of thousands of event bookings every year.
