The brief


Strata are one of the UK’s leading homebuilders – operating throughout Yorkshire and the Midlands selling hundreds of homes every year. Originally we were approached to re-build their website and in our 5 year journey to date we’ve delivered on that and much much more.

Helping buyers find their future home​


At its core, irrespective of the project or team we’re working with at Strata, everything we do has one ultimate goal – help Strata’s potential and actual customers find their future home. Central to the site is the location search and development/home listings – helping a user find the home that best matches their location and pricing requirements.
 
Following on from this there is plethora of supporting content – from financial information, local areas guides, schools’ information and details about Strata’s unique approach. All designed to show a potential customer why Strata are the right choice to purchase their dream home from.

A digital-centric business


Strata really do put digital at the heart of what they do and have worked with us to form a close partnership that pushes the boundaries of the home building sector; from a creative-led approach that separates the brand from other home builders through to the technology and system-integrated approach they take business wide.
 
Strata (with our help) were the first house builder in the UK to offer online reservation for every single plot they have available. One other home builder had offered it with a few selected plots, but Strata pushed the boundaries by launching across thousands of plots and working with real-time updates to ensure each plot could be reserved online and offline without cross-over.

Not just a brochure site

 
Whilst, as we’ve eluded to already, the core role of the site is to sell houses it really isn’t just a digital brochure. User’s pre-purchase can interact with mortgage calculators and save their favourite developments and houses to their own special account area.
 
Following on from reserving their new home, a customer is granted access to the VIP lounge. This is a secure area that is unique to each customer – detailing (in real time) the current build stage of their home and their mortgage applications; not to mention the ability for their Customer Experience Manager to share live updates/photos from site directly to each customer on an individual basis.
 
We’ve also worked with Strata across their digital magazine, micro-sites and full email suite to ensure that their customer’s digital journey is always consistent and always up to the high standards that the Strata brand is founded on.
