Halo Financial, based in London, are one of the UK's leading foreign exchange brokerages, providing specialist foreign exchange services to businesses and private individuals worldwide. There business has three core service areas: emigrating, buying overseas properties and money transfers. We also work with their sister business, Emigrate2.
We work with Halo Financial on a monthly basis, to deliver a digital strategy that is focused on making continuous improvements to their digital presence. These continuous improvements are a mix of ongoing site maintenance and general content and usability optimisations as well as implementing several mini projects, which serve to expand the current content and on site functionality.
Overall the aim is to ensure the website continues to develop as their business grows and their target audiences diversify. It is also a critical strategy for maintaining a website that is in-line with digital industry best practices and the latest developments in user experience design and digital technology.
The website design aims to encourage the maximum amount of onsite engagement through the use of video content and interactive tools, while still maintaining a simple design and intuitive user journey to limit any barriers to conversion.
This simplicity is achieved through the use of iconography to clearly signpost key content areas, alongside an effective dual navigation which allows users to navigate the site based on the services offered and their own status as an individual, business or partner.
Our development work for Halo Financial begin with the migration of their existing website onto the Kentico content management system (CMS), to give them the flexibility they needed to add, remove and change content quickly and easily. This was particularly important for maintaining their Daily Insights blog which features an embedded YouTube video, which required a robust CMS to support this content.
As well as the use of videos on the Daily Insights blog, we have also built a video listing page to showcase their YouTube content and improve the quantity of rich media and interactive content on the website, with the aim of improving engagement rates. With such rich content, we have also ensured the site has been developed with search engine optimisation in mind, working hard to maintain fast page speeds.
Our strategy for Halo Financial has delivered a digital solution that is simple and easy to use both for their internal team uploading content via the new Kentico content management system, and their end user who can easily navigate the site thanks to the simple design and clear iconography.
Since go live, on site engagement has improved with more users leveraging the tools available such as the live foreign exchange rates, regularly updated blog content, forms and downloads.
