20 Jan, 2015 Northern Digital Awards 20 January 2015 Andy Ackroyd Creative Director In addition to our already impressive collection of awards we are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for this year’s Northern Digital Awards for our work with Martin House Children’s Hospice. We are up for the Best Digital Marketing Campaign in the Third Sector and the event is due to take place at the end of this month. Pixelbuilders Commercial Director, Martin Oates said, “We are proud to be recognised as an agency with a growing expertise working with health and palliative care charities and practitioners. We really enjoyed working with such a fantastic organisation and worked hard to encompass event marketing, charitable giving, e-commerce, user forums and SEO to create a website which outlined clearly both their brand and their offering.” Our previous work in this sector has included the NHS, Wakefield Hospice, St Leonard’s Hospice and the Brain Tumour Research & Support Charity. Our expertise within this sector derives from our understanding of sensitive subjects, usability and cost effectiveness; that coupled with our passion for working with such honourable organisations. The team at Martin House said, “Pixelbuilders worked with us to design a website that will create a strong online presence for the hospice, whilst enabling responsive accessibility for supporters to enable them to view the site on tablets and mobiles, and a comprehensive online event booking functionality. We have also introduced a functionality to enable supporters to be able to access their account online and view their bookings and donations which we feel will make the site more interactive for our supporters. We look forward to working together in the future to further enhance the site.” Since its launch in the June 2014, the Martin House website has also been nominated for the Fresh Creative Award and we are thrilled that we won the Bronze Award for the Not-for-profit Sector. We are delighted that our work with Martin House has not only dramatically improved the organisations digital capacity but that our creative and passionate team are been recognised for our great work within this sector. We will keep you posted on our progress!
