Are You Ready for 12th January?

All versions of Internet Explorer prior to version 11 will no longer be supported which means they will no longer receive any more technical support or security updates. In a movement to encourage users to upgrade their browser to a faster, more secure version – Microsoft hope the cut off deadline will encourage people to actively seek a better browsing experience.
IE11 is the latest version of Internet Explorer and is the version which you will have if you have Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.

If you are unsure, you can check what version of Internet Explorer you have by going to the Help section of your IE browser. If you have a version older than IE11 then we strongly recommend that you upgrade your browser for a number of reasons:
  • Security: Without technical support or critical security updates, your browser will be subject to security breaches, viruses, hackers and other harmful software which will leave your data vulnerable.
  • Experience: an unsupported browser will not only affect your browsing experience but may also affect how other software such as Microsoft runs on your desktop.
  • Compliance: if you are a business you will need to ensure that your browsers are supported in order to meet compliance requirements.

Make sure you update your version of Internet Explorer before the 12th!
