We are recruiting for a Senior Digital Designer with a minimum 3 years experience to join Pixelbuilders. Working within the creative team, we are looking for an experienced designer who can work with the wider studio team to deliver high quality creative and improve the company’s design and creative output.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and background:
Work with the wider studio team to deliver high quality creative
Be responsible for the scheduling and delivery of work for the design team
Interpret and develop client briefs alongside the Creative Director and project delivery team
Take a leading role in guardianship of clients’ brands
Present creative concepts in a considered and articulate manner, internally and to clients
Take a leading role in the delivery of projects – ensuring brand consistency
Able to work with different departments to maintain a consistently high output
Demonstrate understanding of web site development and platforms to inform design decisions
Work alongside the design team to coach and harness skills to aid personal development
Keeping up to date with knowledge of UX and UI design, following industry innovations and trends
It would be favourable for candidates to show skills within:
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite & Sketch
Experience designing cross-platform
Awareness of great digital design and has high attention to detail (pixel perfection)
Ability to work quickly and on multiple projects at once
Ability to show initiative and enthusiasm for constantly improving
Know your fonts

Firstly, it’s about timings – our team choose their own start time between 8 and 9:30am, finishing the corresponding time between 4:30 & 6pm. We have free onsite parking and are just 15 minutes’ walk from the train station; there’s a bike store too if you’re more of a two wheels type person.
We don’t expect you to work for free, so of course you’ll be paid a competitive salary based on your experience and skill set, there are bonus opportunities and a company pension scheme.

And like every other agency you’re looking at, yes, we have that infamous ‘box of perks’ too, an open plan office and office-wide Sonos system (you’re welcome to bring headphones too though).
You’ll get 20 days holiday plus bank holidays as standard. We also top up the 20 days by closing over the period between Christmas and New Year with no deduction from your allowance.
We also like to keep your nutrition levels up too… in the office you’ll find free tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream and fruit available at all times. There’s usually a pile of biscuits hanging around too to dive into.
We’re a digital agency, so of course we have a pool table; lunch times aren’t the same without a game of ‘Killer’. If you’re not a pool shark, we also have a break out area with books, sofas and coffee table for a more relaxed break.
If you want to stretch your legs outside – we’re in walking distance of Archive Café, Temple Donuts, Lahore and TGI Fridays amongst other shops and restaurants (as well as the soon to open Kirkstall Brewery Tap).
We have a free company lunch every month too, some months it’s a takeaway, others we’ll venture out a little further. And we also have plenty of social nights out; some just a simple beer after work whilst other nights have included Go Ape, Go-karting and bowling (not all in the same night we hasten to add).
