We were approached by Keepmoat to develop an e-learning system to promote quality and service standard across all their offices/sites across the UK. The system maps users to specific modules for their roles and helps them progress through a number of tests per module. Each test is associated to relevant teaching material including bespoke presentations and video.
It was essential that we optimised functionality and usability of the site
Easy to use for a magnitude of administrators and users.
The system would also need to inform users of key information about the e-learning system and tailored information about each module.
The system design was a key part of this success. Users are able to clearly monitor their progress with a tailored percentage progress bar presenting visibly how much of their overall test they had completed. A clear breakdown of modules and the number of tests within each one gives them a step-by-step guide to completing the online assessment.
Keepmoat’s bespoke e-learning system was built on Kentico V.8 CMS. This .Net CMS allows the owners of the site to easily manage all the content, including bespoke module learning content and test questions. In accordance with the initial requirements, the system was developed with ease to use at the forefront of its functionality.
Our team also develop a reporting system which effectively notifies owners when staff failed tests and not completed modules within the set time constraints. This system also allows owners to see what users have complete all modules and successfully passed the course; with the ability to export results in to excel or CSV.
Since the launch of this brand new web system, Keepmoat have enjoyed increased training participation and management engagement with staff. It has allowed them to successfully create digital reports and conduct in depth results analysis and the optimised functionality and improved usability has also increased the number of people completing the training modules.
