It's that time of year again and The Drum's Digital Agency Census for 2016
has been released.
The census is conducted by The Drum in partnership with the Recommended Agency Register and it aims to provide a comprehensive review of the digital marketing agency landscape in the UK.
It highlights key players, trends and growth in the sector, as well as ranking UK digital agencies based on both their financial performance and client satisfaction levels.
So why are we telling you all this about The Drum Digital Census Report 2016?
Well, this year Pixelbuilders came 34th for financial performance in the category for agencies with under 25 members of staff and 6th for client service in the UK, continuing our unbroken run of achieving a top ten position for client service since 2014.
To give these figures a little more context, these results mark the best rankings yet for the Pixel team in the Digital Agency Census and our rate of improvement (if we may say so ourselves) is pretty impressive.
Just 4 years ago in 2013 we were ranked 103rd for financial performance, this improved to 76th in 2014, then 56th in 2015 and now 34th in 2016, so watch this space as we aim for another jump forward in 2017.
Our Creative Director, Andy Ackroyd said "we're thrilled to be named as one of the top agencies in the UK for client service in The Drum's Digital Census 2016" and it's a sentiment shared by everyone else in the team.
Oh and one more thing...
while coming 6th out of all the UK digital marketing agencies for client service is an amazing achievement, we did happen to notice that if the agencies are split by region, then we'd be ranked 2nd for client service in Yorkshire, just a thought...
