Pixelbuilders Shortlisted for a Northern Digital Award

It’s that time of year again: the Northern Digital Awards shortlist is out and guess what…Pixelbuilders are on it!
We’ve been shortlisted in the “Best Digital Tool or Software” category for our work on the Automove Vehicle Movement System for AMOS, the trading arm of ADVDA. This project has been an interesting one for the Pixelbuilders team, giving us the opportunity to work on developing a web system rather than a website.

Described as “magic” by our Commercial Director Martin Oates, the online vehicle movement management system is designed to allow customers to upload vehicle movement jobs, singularly or in bulk, and for suppliers to accept and fulfil those jobs. The system manages the process from initial upload, through the claiming stage and then onto collection/delivery before the job is completed and is then billed appropriately.

With over ten different user types, the interface is customisable down to each individual’s roles and permissions. The system allows jobs to be bulk uploaded via CSV and the billing process, via Xero, is fully automated. There is a reporting package and system management suite also available to the system admins.

After being shortlisted for a Northern Digital Award last year (that time in the Best Small Agency category), fingers crossed this time we’ll be bringing the award home with us. However it has to be said, we’re up against some very strong competition including: Fusion Unlimited for both their Feed Catalyst and Natural Edge projects and myclever Agency for the SASbot, to just name a few.

This nomination comes at the end of another very exciting year at Pixel Towers, which has seen us continue to grow our team of digital experts with the appointments of Gabbi and Olly, as well as take on some fantastic new clients. So needless to say winning an award would be the icing on the cake and a fantastic start to the New Year.

We’ll keep you posted on the results so for now all that’s left to do is cross our fingers until January 26th 2017!
